The most basic trim (simply called the Up) manages 0-62mph in 15.6 seconds with a top speed of 101mph, whilst the top-spec GTI trim manages the same time in 8.8 seconds, before reaching a potential 122mph. The VW e-Up! pure-electric version is powered by an 82hp electric motor and feels even more lively thanks to its electric torque. Total range on a single charge is around 160 miles, and 0 to 62mph is achieved in 11.9 seconds. Meanwhile, top speed is 81 mph.
