Revealed at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show, this all-electric electric crossover SUV is a close relative of the Nissan Leaf and it certainly looks the part, with a futuristic design that should make you really stand out on those windy country roads. And the excellence isn't just restricted to the outside, since the Ariya also packs in an ultra-modern dashboard and a cabin interior that delivers safety and connectivity. The in-built Amazon Alexa and Nissan's ProPilot system will more than keep you right. The Ariya comes in either a 63kWh or 87kWh battery size, both outdoing the 40kWh offered by the Nissan Leaf. You get a choice of three trims (Advance, Evolve, Performance), but even the entry-level Advance comes with impressive 19" alloys, a 360-degree view and two 12.3" screens. Whilst the Ariya has an official range of 310 miles and a 0-62mph time of just 5.1 seconds, at 466-litres, the boot space is nothing to write home about.
